Iliotibial Band Syndrone

While healing my sesamoids, my IT Band became tight.  Soon it was flaring up after 4mi runs and finally after only 1mi runs.  Running through the pain didn't work.   But it would get continuously better after taking days off.

I studied everthing I could, read up on other accounts, got physical therapy, but still couldn't shake it.

Finally, my roommate (a physical therapist himself) suggested the cure-all method for IT Band Syndrone.... rolling lengthwise on a styrofoam log.  However the pain is incredible so he never got many results since patients refused to endure it.

But a week of rolling on my side on the log eliminated my IT Band problems!
