Todd, Trudi, and I decided to enter a run race (just for training because we were tired). About 100 people attended the Spooner Lakes 1/2 marathon (& 10mi & 10K). You run straight up a mtn. and turn around at either the 10K, 10mi, or 13.1mi stations. I opted for the 10mi. At the turn-around I noticed just 1 guy ahead of me! So I took off and flew the downhill (like a runaway truck) 1st place overall! (the studly men and women that did the 1/2 marathon were running in snow at the peak!)
