Spoke on the
"empty soul", the "dry soul" and the "thirsty soul". It seemed like
people related very well to that and it was convicting for some of us.
As triathletes, it's easy to become a dry soul when all our actions are
put into many hours of training and planning rather than an effort to
live for Jesus Christ.
Jeff Landauer
2006 Ultraman World
Champion
The "Landshark"

Jeff gave his testimony.
People were impacted by that. It was full of reality (that fact that
we're all messed up just like the many people in the Bible who are not
perfect people!) and hope (that God can use us in huge ways we think
we're incapable of). We were honored to have a world champion that is as
humble and friendly as you are, and that makes for some great
connections with those who get to hear you speak.
Follow-Up on Racers:
Perry and
Rachel completed the World's Toughest triathlon, with smiles, and
almost together as Rachel remained slightly ahead of her husband most
of the race. There were big cheers from the spectators when they both
finished.
Kent ended up
getting 2nd in his 60+ age group although I still don't see how he's
60+. He was happy with his race and headed back to San Diego with his
son, Ariel.
Tana had a
great race and enjoyed the whole day.
Nate also did
well and was impressed with how the hills here compared with those in
Boulder.
Lance, Robin
and Troy did parts of the race in the relay divisions but were fully
exhausted nonetheless.
Carrie did the
World's Toughest Duathlon.
Steve won his
division in the Olympic Distance Triathlon.
